Do playstation 2 controllers work for the original playstation?

Q. I want to buy this playstation that works fine, but wont come with controllers when I buy it. I do not want to have to buy the additional controllers separate however i will if i have to.

A. No they do not... Ive tried Before. However, Dualshock Controllers (the Playstation 1 Controllers with analog sticks) will work for the Playstaion 2. They are good but the analog sticks are not as sensitive and the vibration isnt as good as in the Playstation 2 controllers

How can I buy stuff at the playstation store without my mom knowing?

Q. She doesnt know we have playstation network, so we cant use her credit card. We have Simon Mall Gift cards, is there any way we can buy stuff with those.

A. you can use Simon mall cards anywhere you can use a visa so if thats the playstation website then go for it but you'll have to go to the giftcard website first and register it so it works online

Q. I'm looking to buy a Xbox 360 or a PlayStation 3 soon. There are different models of each. I wanted to know how many different models there are of each console and which one is best to buy. Why isn't the PlayStation 3 160GB out yet? Lastly, what are the top 5 games for each console?

Whats the difference between the psp with the blue screen and the psp with the orange screen?

Q. I have been looking on the internet for information about the playstation portable ( psp). While I was looking, I found out that one psp has a blue screen and the other psp I was looking at had a orange screen I cannot tell the difference is one slim and the other is fat or are they both the same?

A. Online the old psp is showed with a blue screen and the new slim one is shown with an orange screen. I would recommend getting the slim one. But you can change your screen color any time in the settings menu. You can even have a picture as your background.

How can I downgrade my psp 3004 and get a custom firmware?

A. Pandora does not work on your PSP model anyway because of an encryption present on the initial load process (IPL), which also blocks the ability to install a custom firmware to the internal memory.

however, there is a homebrew loader called the Half Byte Loader (HBL), and it works on all firmwares to date (up to 6.20) that are capable of running the Patapon 2 Demo.

it can only load small applications for now but rest assured it's being worked on every day by it's creators, and has it's own website too.

A. you cant playstation 1 never had any wireless controllers so it will not support it you need to buy a PS1 controller or PS2 which will work with the PS1

How do you install psp games using your psp internet free without downgrading?

A. You need custom firmware to do that (download free games), and currently you can not downgrade from 5.51 firmware. You either need to buy a new PSP or used PSP with a lower firmware in order to downgrade or install custom firmware.

How to charge a PSP without the original charger?

Q. I borrowed a PSP from a friend of mine and he did not leave me the charger for it. The battery is completely dead is there anyway for me to charge it?

A. The PSP has it's own personal charge cable design so there would be no other way except through a USB cable. Just ask your friend for it or buy a cheap one on craigslist.

Or if you are really desperate, go to Toysrus or any store that has PSP Demos and use the charging cable they have for their demo PSP, charge your PSP for a good 10 minutes or until you are able to turn it back on and reach 10% on the battery level. Then save your PSP batteries until you go back home. Then turn on your computer and get a USB cable and connect your PSP, then go to your PSP "System Settings" and turn on "USB Charge" and the go to "USB Mode". Your PSP light should go orange. And just charge your PSP like that, but your PSP has to be on the the whole time (it will still charge). But remember if you want to recharge your PSP through USB then you can't have your batteries go dead.

Why would a playstation 2 game work on one playstation 2 but not another?

Q. My friend bought a used Playstation 2 game and it won't work in her playstation 2 but yet it works in mine.
All other games work in hers just not this one game....
Why is that?

Is it possible to transfer downloaded games from one Playstation 3 to another Playstation 3?

I already have several PS1 games downloaded on my PS3. Can I transfer those games to my new PS3?

A. Yes. It's kind of confusing and complicated to explain online though.
Go to your new ps3 and sign into your account, activate the system for game downloads ( you can only have 5 systems activated at any given time ). The activation is done somewhere in the settings files.
Once it's activated go into the playstation store and re-download the content to your new ps3.
It's confusing like I said but you can probably find out how to do it on youtube.

How can i remove my credit card details from Playstation?
